But by tapping the ‘Locate’ button, you will prompt the app to search for the device, so you can see exactly where they are.
How quickly you receive a response will depend on how often you have set the device to send its location. This can easily be changed using the Yepzon app (anywhere between one minute and six hours).
'Moving' mode means that the device is on the move.
And once Yepzon’s acceleration sensor detects that movement has stopped, it will switch to 'Sleeping' mode after 20 minutes, in order to save battery life.
When the sensor detects that the device is moving again, it will immediately switch Yepzon back to 'Moving' mode.
This means you can easily track them when they’re on the move and check that they are okay.
Whilst you don't need a subscription, Yepzon does have a built-in SIM card to do its locating and you’ll initially be provided with one-month's worth of data (5MB).
You can top up your SIM at any time, using the app. For just £3.50, you’ll receive another 5MB.

Q: What is a roaming SIM? Does this mean it can be used it other countries?
A: A roaming SIM is provided with your device which will connect to the strongest network available at your location. The SIM allows the device to be used abroad which includes USA, EU + Switzerland, Norway and Iceland and Russia.
Q: What's provided in the box?
A: In the box you'll receive your Yepzon One, a carrier bag, a lanyard, user guide and a preinstalled roaming SIM with 5MBs of data.
Q: What kind of smartphone is required?
A: Yepzon can be paired to a smartphone or tablet which meets the following requirements:
Yepzon App® uses the NFC feature to pair Yepzon with Windows Phone and Android devices. iOS devices can be paired with the Bluetooth Smart (BT 4.0) feature. Bluetooth Smart feature of iOS and Android devices is also used for locating a nearby Yepzon.
Other Android, WP and iOS devices: Pair Yepzon with a supported device. Share control from this device to a device which is not supported. If Yepzon App can be found in the app store of the latter device, Yepzon should be able to be controlled and followed with that device.
Q: Where can I get Yepzon® App mobile app?
A: Yepzon App can be found on Google, Windows Phone and Apple app stores as Yepzon App. The application is free.
Q: How to charge Yepzon?
A: Under Yepzon’s rubber plug is micro-USB connector. You can charge Yepzon by plugging in a AC charger or for example connecting it into a USB port of your computer.
Q: How often should I charge Yepzon?
A: Charge your Yepzon at least once in every 3 months since in case Yepzon is left uncharged for several months it may overdrain and this may cause the device to dysfunction. If you plan to leave Yepzon unused for several months (maximum 3 months and then recharge it) you should fully charge Yepzon first and then us the “turn off the Yepzon” feature of the Yepzon application.

I bought the Yepzon One to help track my dog who likes to chase deer. I had tried trackers designed for use with dogs but found them not fit for purpose. This One is excellent. I am so pleased with it. It is sleek, compact and light-weight. I had the Velcro straps of the pouch stitched together to make a secure loop. All of the dog collars slip through the loop, allowing the unit to sit comfortably against my dogs neck. The software is very easy to use. I am able to pick up a signal from the device with only one bar of signal on my phone. Literally, within a minute the GPS has picked up my dog's location. I also like the fact that the device continuously monitors the location and doesn't switch off like the "dog tracker". Excellent product and would recommend to other dog owners considering purchasing a tracking device.

The Yepzon locator is great for finding the location of someone to a certain proximity – but there are current limitations with the technology in that it can’t show where someone is within a building for example. But for the price point I’m really happy with the Yepzon, it’s given me additional peace of mind that if my elderly mom isn’t where I expect her to be I can find out where she is!
